A Monet marvel...
This serene, soothing and instantly recognisable scene now adorns the wall of a child’s bedroom in Chelsea. Muraldesign turned an 1899 masterpiece into a 2009 mural by recreating Claude Monet’s famous ‘Water Lily Pond’ on a large scale. Depicting the Impressionist’s flower garden at Giverny, the once white wall is now awash with weeping willows, an array of foliage and the graceful arc of a Japanese style bridge. With their very own masterpiece, the residents of this home need never to visit The National Gallery again! Anna of Muraldesign also painted this little girls treehouse bed to tie in with the mural.
